How to go beyond 1:1?

Hello my friends.
I have a probably dumb question here. I own an AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED wich gives me 1:1 magnification.
I want to know how to go beyond it and achieve bigger magnification. Wich one would be the best option? Extension Tubes? Tele Converter? Reversed 50mm attached to my macro lens?
And what would be the final distance of the subject?

Simply using a close-up filter or some tubes will do the job.

Or, you can reverse a 50mm in front of your macro.

If you really want to get close, you'll need some serious firepower. This, to me, means a reversed 28, 35 or 50mm lens and a bellows.

Talking about Close-up Filters, I read that one of its cons its a loss in quality.
I didn't mentioned it, but I think it works kinda like a close-up filter, so it is on discussion too. I'm talking about Raynox DCR-250. Any thoughts about it? I liked what I read about it and I bought one. It should be delivered tomorrow.

I'd venture to say that 99.995% of the close-up filters sold every year are garbage. They're sold to unknowing newbies who don't understand they buying cheap crap.

The Raynox, however, I've heard is an exception to this rule. I don't own one, but have heard good things about it.

I don't know how much more magnification you can expect from it, however. Let us all know!
