Hello all,

I just recently did a maternity photo shoot.

Some photos the client had the shoulders uncovered therefore i did capture the sunburn bra marks over the shoulders.

I did contacted the client and asked if she wanted me to remove the sunburn bra marks over the shoulders. She said, yes please. All is good until now...

Now, she emails me asking me if i can remove the white strap color of her bra that is under the transparent dress...ohh boy..

I said to her that is a deep retouching, that is texture under another texture that i will do my best.

How do you handle this type of situations ?

Thanks for your help,

cost vs time. Extra time = extra cost. In this case since you are just starting a business i would eat the time to do the retouch if it doable, make the client happy. Happy clients are good.

Bra straps and hair-ties on the wrists are some of the first things I look for when shooting female models. I find it's much easier to deal with them before I start shooting.

You got it Horoscope Fish I learned my lesson.
I wish I had some advice on how to fix this but... I don't. I had to learn the hard way as well to avoid the situation at the outset. The model I learned my lesson on not only had exposed bra straps but since she was fairly well-endowed there were still her shoulder's, or rather "dents" in her shoulder's, to deal with after removing the straps themselves. It all became a veritable nightmare. I will say if you don't have a Wacom tablet and pen, this might be the time to consider one.

I say that about a tablet only half-jokingly as I wouldn't give up my tablet for both love AND money; it's just that essential for doing detailed corrections in PS.
