Rights to Publish / Share

I have recently started taking professional assignments, so after the delivery to clients, I watermark some images and use it for promotion on social networking sites. I don't know how the laws / rules are in India, but wanted to add a Disclaimer regarding sharing of images on social networking sites.

Can someone please shed some light on this ???

Such issues should be agreed upon prior to commencement of the work. If you have a written contract (which you should!), allowable usage should be a clause contained in it.

Yeah. I will be adding this disclaimer in the email itself when I send over the agreement

Legal guidance will be different for photographers here stateside vs your locale. I use the PPA (Professional Photographers Association) samples when needed, as well as another US legal reference (lawtog), but those may not be enforceable/appropriate for your local laws.
