WhiteLight Photography - Macro to Landscapes and everything in between

Finally am ready to present to you my new blog-site :)
It took me a really long time to get it to how i would like it to be.. and the time constraints with work doesn't help either!

I would appreciate your feedback - what you think is good & what's not, any areas of improvement etc.
Also what would you think is the next steps i should take :p
I've done it so far & i think I've used all the ideas I've had, so would really like to know what would be the advisable next steps in terms of the site & content and for me as a photographer too.

So a little about the site-
It's responsive, so compatible on platforms, mobile ready
Currently i have a gallery & blog section as the main part of the site (worked a bit on getting the blog posts that way..) and an about me & guest book page.

It would be quite awesome if you could take a moment to fill in my guest book :)

I intend to have a portfolio section, once i have something that 'portfolio material'

I want to really take a couple of moments to Thank so many people here on Nikonites.. i can't name them all, but you know who you are
Thanks to all my friends here, am quite certain without all the help & guidance both in terms of Photography and on a personal level my photography would have not gone anywhere.
if you are new, this IS the place to learn..

Special thanks to David (@dtigga) who made the banners for me..
I just made a random request in a thread almost a year back & the logos you see on my site & in my signature below were made by him in a matter of a 2-3 minutes..
it's unbelievable that we seem to find the nicest people here.

Also like to thank Anthony (@browncoat) for letting me pick his brains on the final stages of my site, for a lot of things that i seem to have gotten stuck with..
a lot of great advice & real world knowledge that you would get on no site but only through experience..

Thank You !!

WOW!
Are you saying I might be able to take photos like that one day?
I will spend time this afternoon reading your blog, really looking forward to that - and I may have some ideas for you which I will send by personal mail.
Very well done

Site looks great. My only pick would be that the images that scroll through vary in size. I would make them uniform in size.

The logo is very clean and professional.

Very nice job, I like!

I recently changed host so updated my site but still not the way I want it so may take pointers from yours.

On mine I use a Flickr API instead of hosting pictures locally!

Beautiful site! The images are just fantastic. I would hide the email addresses on the guest book or make it optional, I put a phoney email address in.

Are you starting up a business? Its not clear from the site if you are a photographer for hire or if prints are for sale or if its strictly a personal site.

I also tried the site from my droid 4 phone. I can only see the slide show and I cannot escape from it, no menu visible.

Very nicely done, and an impressive set of work.

I'm assuming it's purpose is to serve as an online portfolio site and not necessarily act as a commercial site in any way, as I didn't see anything about your availability for hire, or how to purchase or license your work - though that could, of course, be left up to the viewer to contact you after visiting.

Hey George @moabman
Thanks.. I've resized pics to 2k pixels on the longer edge.. Images that are smaller are not enlarged.. Could that be the reason? I felt that enlarging images would make them lose quality?
