Package pricing question.

I will be shooting Springtime portraits in a couple of weeks, during an Easter egg hunt at a huge shopping center. I will be setup and available for family photos during the event. I am trying to decide what I should change clients that would like to have pictures taken.
I really need help from you guys!
Here are a few ideas that I have but just don't know what would work better at an event like this.

Note: I have a Smugmug account that I use to sell my photos. Each client can select their favorite pics and the sizes they want to purchase from my site.

Here are my ideas...
1. Charge $14.95 for one 5"x7" photo at the event and send them to my website for their photo.
2. Charge $14.95 for the 5"x7" and give them a $10 off coupon for any other photo sizes they would like to purchase from my site.
3. Charge $5 at the event and give them a $5 off coupon to purchase any size photo.

Any advice would be great!

BTW...I'm sorry but are you out of your mind? LOL

You are going to chase a bunch of little kids around for money? I hope you will be able to use a fast shutter speed because you are going to need it...

:)

No. I am in a studio at the center, set up for portraits. Lighting, muslin, props, etc. no running around after kids!

Have you ever done this sort of thing before? :)

Wal Mart is offering Easter package deals for 7.99 probably and they'll be packed all day...poor photographer...I'm just saying...

Assume the only money you will get is what you get on the day ..make it a simple amount requiring little change $7.99..10 dollar bill equals $2 change ...no good $4.99 or $9.99 ...choose the one they like ..print it on the day..no mounts ..mounts cost money put it in a paper bag .. no postage

Hi Gary,

Just noticed this had been a couple weeks.. wondered how your planning was going and when the event was?

Did a similar shoot to what you're doing a few years ago. Won't do it again. Few wanted to buy an actual photo and most wanted to just use the setup and snap a cell phone picture.

I'm snaphappy so can only answer as a prospective customer I think both your options 1 and 2 seem reasonable.

Every year my kids want to go to the mall to see Santa and get photos but its painful. Every year its the same guy with a huge beautiful camera and every year the photos SUCK! Now that I've learned more I think he must have a softening filter or something but the pics look like the lens is fogged over so you can't see the kids faces and its painful to pay for these photos I would NEVER put in a frame. I have 3 kids and getting them to stay still, look at the camera at the same time and not make funny faces is the most frustrating and painful photos to take so my hat is off to you!

Hey...good luck on your Easter shoot. :) Now.....is it just me, or is anyone else sick and tired of prices like $7.99 and $14.99 and $9.99. I mean....seriously......is this fooling anyone really? Too ashamed to add that extra penny? Come on! It's $8, $15, $10, isn't it! Round it off and make it simple for people! Gawd I hate that kind of marketing pricing!

Oooops meant to post that elsewhere

I suppose an opportunity like this would be a good place to get your name out there for some portrait packages...maybe you could give some snaps away and draw in a customer or two.
