my first picture uploaded with new camera

ok this is the first picture i have taken that i think turned out pretty good. i have only had my camera for a couple weeks and been taking alot of pictures and playing with the settings on the camera.




camera - d 3100
lens - stock that came with camera
f stop - f/9
exposure time - 1/125 sec
iso - 400
focal length - 55 mm

Nice shot the the orange tinted leaves are giving a good look.

I too like this - the contrast of the stark plumage of the ( Canada Goose ? ) against those wonderful Autumn colours works very nicely. Goose is nicely positioned in the frame too

thanks for all the likes and opinions! its just sad that this is only 1 of i think 100 pictures i have taken so far. i guess i should be thankful it isnt film at least.

There is only one way to fix that Michael....get out there and shoot

Oh it is just starting Michael --- now you will start to see pictures everywhere --- you will look at something that in the past you may have ignored but now you will start planing the composition, what ISO --- is the light behind you??????
