Palouse falls

Had and to do B&W as I was there midday. Wanted to be there at sunset a day earlier but there was a fire on my way and got delayed. Will try to go back and do a composition at sunset.

Well, there is almost no detail in the rocks, or even the water at the base of the falls. The exposure is far too dark, and the shadows need to be brought up, IMO. I'd like to say more about the composition, but it's hard when the picture is so dark. I do like the misty look of the water at the bottom of the falls.

Thanks. I’ll try working on it again in Lightroom and see what comes out. Will repost the image once done.
