Taken last July during my summer vacation in the very small town/fishing port population 104, Bridgeport NFLD.
I have a second hand older canvas in our home that was purchased years ago at a local shop that is 34 x 22. Looking to replace it with the image below. Is the image too colourful for canvas? If not what is the best type of finish to get for it IE: matte, semi-gloss etc. The room is well light during the day time if that matters any. Thanks for any advice or feedback.

** Someone on a different forum mentioned acrylic or glass?

I'm bad at this stuff, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I'm not feeling the canvas. This picture is beautiful, sharp, clean and crisp. I think it would look best on a bright and sharp media. Exactly what that media is, I don't know. For canvas, I think of farm scenes, cute birds and portraits. Soft, pastoral, warm, family, etc.
