First HDR attempt

I had about an hour to kill so I stopped at a local cruise in. Weather was really crappy so the selections were very slim. I happened across this 29 Ford and I'm a sucker for old car front ends. (I can almost guess what Pete is going to say about front ends).

Not having bracketing available on my camera, I set up a tripod, took three exposures changing the shutter speed two clicks up and down for each shot beyond the metered shot.

I used CS5's HDR and blindly adjusted the settings till I found something that looked good to me.

Looks good, Mike, for a first attempt. I would crop it a little tighter on the sides, but aside from that, it looks good. The colour really pops on that car. Nice job.

I saw that too (after the fact). I didn't like it either which only adds to the argument of looking at the entire picture BEFORE taking the picture.
I was looking at the shoe on the foot of the dude who was sitting in the chair, but who is now crawling over to the cooler to get another cold one.

But, that's just me...
