Bay Long Exposure

Hi all,

I wanted to try my hand at long exposure this morning. Nothing really interesting in the sky as I took this before the sun really broke the horizon – need to purchase an ND filter so my shots don't come out over exposed in the daylight.

I edited with a cooling filter and a B&W – not sure which I like better. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

I think I prefer the 1st one , but a lack of subject as you say makes them dull maybe , also the horizon isn't level( I know curvature of the earth etc but for me it would look better corrected slightly)

The photo would have benefited from a different position of the camera say at the edge of the breaker so that will run in an angle so to speak, that would have given you a subject as it would run into the distance also adding perspective. Clouds would certainly have helped......as would some waves.....you are on the right track though:)

It is also a good idea making a space between the photos on the post for the sake of separation.
