The last one is my best result in search for the clean shot, the middle one has the mic but it doesn't disturb the face. In the first one I like the expression in combination with the backgroundAs a fairly experience gig tog i don't think you could do a lot differently, you have sharp shots well captured and framed, my one niggle would be to get an angle without the microphone in shot. Like I have said I do a fair amount of this kind of thing and stage furniture can be and is a nightmare, its often impossible to get a clean shot. Another point is that you have managed to get a good feel from the player which is especially tricky when half of his face is obscured by his hands. Well done
