Recent trip to Fountains Abbey

Hi Everyone. Was at Fountains Abbey in Ripon, North Yorkshire over the weekend and took the following shots. Still learning the ropes and it's only the 2nd or 3rd time I've had a good go at taking some photos. I've processed them using Lightroom but may have overdone it with the Clarity, Vibrance and Saturation settings Would be nice to know what people think and any tips would be appreciated, thank you. More of them can be found in my gallery.

Nice set, #2 my favorite. However the processing takes away the natural look to me.

thanks for the comment Lovin, i can see where you are coming from about the processing. it was quite a dull and overcast day so thought i'd try and bring them to life a little. luckily as i've got the raw files i can always go back and mess about with them again.

Looks to be a very interesting spot for photography, nice pictures.
I made a couple of minor changes to the 3rd one. Straightened the building a bit an lightened some.
What do you think.

Looks good dennybeall, i couldn't quite get it level when i was messing about with it. i think the slope of grass on the right kept putting me off.

One thing about perspective like that is you either have to have a tilt lens when you take it or square it up later with Photoshop Perspective Warp like this one.
Not everybody likes them all square.

All very good shots, second shot is my favourite.
