My 1st attempt at shooting moving water. Part2.

I have been seeing a lot of great professional images online capturing moving water.
I figured I give it a shot myself. The problem was that it was pretty light out and I had no ND filter at the time. I used a circular polarizer to take some of the reflections off the water.
Also used a tripod. I tried to get the aperture as small as I could, to get a longer exposure.
Did a little pp in Lightroom 5.
I'm kind of happy with it for being the first try. Anything I can do , besides shooting this maybe in the late afternoon to improve?
Thanks. Burgress Falls-6.jpg

Here are a few more. I'm not crazy about the waterfall. I think I went a bit heavy on the processing.Burgress Falls-13.jpg

Very nice. Love long exposure with water. Can't beat it. Very impressive without a ND filter. Fast moving water? Turned out awesome.

Thanks. I can't wait to go out again, now that I have a Hoya 4x ND filter and try it.
I did have to bring the expose down quite a bit in lightroom.

Agreed, much better. Keep playing with it and most of all make the leap to a adjustable ND filter. If you think you're excited now... wait till you make the leap.
