And I am willing to wear the no editing thing, but honestly if you ask for critique and do not wish your photo to be edited then why post it? Its there for critique and as they say a picture paints a thousand words. We are not editing for our own benefit but for the benefit of the poster. If they can not see the difference then they do not see the difference when stated to them.I like it, and am not as concerned with the rule of thirds thing when the subject is interesting. That said, as was mentioned I'd like to see the lighthouse be perfectly vertical (I could care less about the fence). It's a tough exposure with the sun in there, but youcan pull back some of the highlights a bit and grab a little more sky detail if you so choose. I also thing the native 4x6 crop works better as you've got a lot of dark down at the bottom.
I'll defer to the fact that you've asked us not to post edits of your image, but after rotating left a bit, backing highlights out and boosting shadows a bit and then playing with overall contrast I like it a lot - particularly cropped.
