Thank you, I had no idea how hard I would be to get a 5 year old to sit still lol.I have a lot of respect for people who do this type of work for a living.

I like it the thing I would say is the boy's face is out of focus, the womans face is nice and focused I just try to get all faces in focus when shooting portraits. Unless that was intended. I do like the color better though. Great shot keep it up!

Yeah,I would have liked it all focused. The little guy was bouncing around so I was just firing away.

Welcome JLR. I am in NorCal also. I do mostly performance boating photography, and shoot a lot in the Delta around Discovery Bay.
My thoughts on the portrait echos what has already been said... Pan the camera to the right so her hair doesn't run out of the frame and have the boys face more in focus. I keep wanting to do some portraits, but it is a different skill set than motorsports (at least in my mind). That is a great first attempt, so keep up the hard work.

Thanks and I agree 100% is a different skill set but I love a challenge! I love the Delta, certain places make you feel like you on the Bayou!

I really love the bike picture, it is very difficult to get those shots, and the framing of the bike is nice to. Keep up the great work, and most of all enjoy it while you are doing it!!!

I like the portrait a lot. Mostly the B&W I think - though I would give the young boy's eyes a little with the burn tool, I think the blue in his eyes are to bright for the b&w version.
