So I am a professional detailer and get plenty of time to shoot some nice cars. This particular one belongs to a friend of mine. I took it down the street to a secluded side street in an industrial area that had the lighting I was looking for... I know it is not an ideal location, but it was more or less for practice and not meant to be a formal shoot by any means.
I was attempting that sun flare/blown out look but I still wanted to show off the car.
All photos taken with Nikon D7000 & 50 f/1.8.
I did the usual tweaks in lightroom - exposure if needed, contrast, clarity, sharpening. I also added a graduated filter to help counter the blown out sky and added a little bit of vignetting to some of them.
Anyways, "creative processing" has always been a weak point of mine... I would consider these photos to be more "edited" than my usual images, but I think they still look pretty natural and not "over done". I'm just looking for some feedback on the overall look and feel of the images.
Thanks!
^Lens flare was natural reflection off of the side window
