Few quick car photos... feedback on processing?

So I am a professional detailer and get plenty of time to shoot some nice cars. This particular one belongs to a friend of mine. I took it down the street to a secluded side street in an industrial area that had the lighting I was looking for... I know it is not an ideal location, but it was more or less for practice and not meant to be a formal shoot by any means.

I was attempting that sun flare/blown out look but I still wanted to show off the car.

All photos taken with Nikon D7000 & 50 f/1.8.

I did the usual tweaks in lightroom - exposure if needed, contrast, clarity, sharpening. I also added a graduated filter to help counter the blown out sky and added a little bit of vignetting to some of them.

Anyways, "creative processing" has always been a weak point of mine... I would consider these photos to be more "edited" than my usual images, but I think they still look pretty natural and not "over done". I'm just looking for some feedback on the overall look and feel of the images.

Thanks!

^Lens flare was natural reflection off of the side window

The shots are nice, in focus looks well done.
But i must say, there's a certain something missing...
I would think that to be the composition..
For example, the first shot would look better if there was more of the car in the frame...
In the second shot i would definitely want the car in the same angle more towards the left frame and a lot more space on the right - in the direction the car is facing..
Always feels good to see more of the body. it makes it more passionate

All that being said, this is probably what photographers would nit pick on... any viewer would definitely find the pics to be awesome :)

For me, the picture is too landscapish. If you're showing me a car I want the car in my face, SHOW ME THE CAR! The sun flare is distracting. The picture in your signature is in my face, there is no wondering as to where I'm supposed to be drawn.

Front face of the car shot - the car is leaving the picture, don't like it.

Sounds like you have the opportunity to shoot some great cars, keep at it.
