Nikon D700 with Sigma 50-500mm HSM OS winning combination

Just wanted to post some pics from my new combination, the D700 as we all know is a brilliant camera, but using a Sigma 50-500mm lens with it has really taken my breath away.
Comments are always welcome.

I'm still kicking my butt for selling my bigma and these fine pictures aren't helping LOL.I hear only good things about the new OS models.Great shots and keep shooting.

Just the other day I was reading about the 50-500mmm from Sigma. And was thinking about getting it for my D7100.

Can only say that I recommend this lens to anyone, I managed to get mine off Amazon for under a grand I know its a lot of money but as far as I am concerned worth every penny.

Thought that I would add these in as well

Rick, I know that apart from a 50mm prime I have never been able to afford a good lens, and the D700 was putting my collection of old Nikon and slightly less old Sigmas off ebay, but this is astounding its sharp all the way through its range (which is stunning) and aperture settings don't seem to matter, its just sharp. The photos were all taken hand held with the OS off and they are brialliant. A friend pointed out that I have spent ages using old kit, and tatty lenses with which I still managed to get decent results that I have served an apprenticeship and now can use this combo to great effect. Nice idea
