Hi there,

Indeed, nice desert shot! It documents very well the local climatic conditions… no place for a bear!

I doubt, however, that this was ever backlit… and the horizon needs tweaking!

Great colours.

Have a good day…

One of the biggest things I struggle with here in Arizona is horizons during the summer months. There is always a haze created from temperatures that hover around 105- 110 deg, it’s a problem I can’t figure out…Even in my sunset shots it looks like ghosting along the horizon. I am working on getting some better editing programs. I was thinking I could separate the horizon work on it then put it back in a layer. But still need to learn how to do that…
Kodiak thanks for the advice you are dead on.:)

Hi man,

This problem is not unique to Arizona!

Here, there is no desert and, good grief!, no such temperature. But the haze is there…
This haze is made of floating dust particles plus the "mirage effect" of layer air with
different temperature and/or humidity.

I know no way out! …may be attenuated but… errrr!
