I don't see anything wrong.

What are you insecure about? Or are you just looking for a pad on the shoulder?

Thanks Marcel for the reply and sorry about posting multiple images. Have corrected my post.

No I am not looking for a pat on the shoulder :). I just needed to know if there is anything wrong with my images. I need general critique and how I can improve my images. If you can score me all the better, since I am new in photography and want pointers to improve.

I like the picture as you're drawn to the eyes straight away, but the only thing I found distracting was that I could see your silhouette in the reflection in her eyes

Thanks Sam for the comment, true that about the silhouette. Will try and work that out. One more thing, what can be done to improve composition in these type of portraits?

Are you sure this was done without the flash? I see a strong light just above the camera in the reflection.

I think that the shutter speed has limited the sharpness of your picture. The eyes are not that sharp and it looks to me as motion blur. You should watch this in the future.

Now with this capture, I think you could crop it a little bit tighter and maybe burn the corners a little darker in post processing. I find the ear a little distracting because even when I look at the eyes, my eyes go back and forth to the ear. If you permit, I could try to work on it so you can see what I mean. I did once do some corrections and the person was so angry that he never came back to this forum. So feel free to accept or decline my offer.

haha no no be at ease and do whatever required chances you have to make :)

And at what shutter speed will the picture be clearer? And I didn't use any flash since I was trying out how my 50mm performs without a flash. There is only a bulb right behind me, its the refelction you feel in the eyes.

Also can I upload another pic here that I just took? This time with flash.

And thanks a lot for your detailed reply, waiting for your retouched pic :)
