Modern sculpture

I was visiting a sculpture park this week (Until it rained!) and it dawned on me very quickly just how difficult these modern types of art are to photograph (At least for me)... I was after some feedback and ideas of how other would approach this type of shot?

I don't know why but I think on the left side the sculpture needs more space. My eyes are going every time to the left sculpture as well. Maybe it needs more space above as well.

Thanks Michael, I see what you mean! I will be returning to the park soon so I will get some shots with more space.

Steve,

Definitely think Michael is spot on with the spacing. Also think about using a wider angle lens. These things are harder to make look good in photos than I could have imagined. It took several shots of similar sculptures, on a recent trip we took, before I started to get a feel of how to try to frame them.

Thanks David, good idea with the lens.... Time to put the 8-16mm into action! BTW, I love that black and white shot of yours... It looks like zero-gravity mercury or something!
