Tried again, think this result is way better than the first - going back and doing the same shoot twice is really a great learning experience.

1/160, f/3.5, iso 1600

I like the processing, very stark and the mood is expressionless, if that is what your after then you got it. Composition wise, I think he needs more room above his head. I think some more poses (but with the same processing), off center, head turned slightly, eyes looking up or down, would be interesting and might add some depth. Nice shot, excellent processing which really creates an interesting feel.

More room above, I thought made his head more egg-shaped.......

About the different poses, I did a lot of those but mostly it just made him look sad or tired! Weird. But maybe thats because I didnt use enough time.

The off center, well, thats a favorite discussion - there are nothing else in the picture, so off center wont work imo :)

You DID ask for a critique, right? Rick gave you one.

Well yes...?

I dont know, dont think I would be happy if someone send me a portrait of me, where I looked tired or sad. But maybe I am missing something, if you got examples I would love to see (if you got one yourself or know where to find it on google/a photographers website).
