This photo looks strange to me. Is it the camera settings or something else?
DSC_0855.jpg Why is the blue like that?
Thanks

Is the image cropped a lot?
If the WB is off & the image is slightly over exposed, this is what it looks like...
Seen a few of them, but this could be something else altogether though..

Exif data will be useful..

Like WhiteLight said, you may have overexposed the photo. Last year when I made the switch to a DSLR, initially I was WAY off on the settings. Below is one of the first attempts I shot of a ferris wheel with a digital camera. :eyetwitch:

Notice the color of the sky in the lower righthand corner. It's almost the same as your sky. My camera was also set to 'tungsten' for the white balance. My photo is definitely over-exposed (an 8-second exposure, f/8, and the ISO was equivalent to ISO 100). Mine was taken in the evening when the sky was starting to get dark. When was yours taken? Was the original scene darker than it appears in your photo?

White balance looks off. If you use something like lightroom.....move the temp slider.

Definitely WB as suggested change the White Balance, what setting do you use your WB? I normally leave mine in Auto for most unless I am doing night time lightning shots then I set it to Cloudy.

On the D60 I usually set mine to daylight (sun) unless its quite dull then cloudy as i find the auto setting over exposes and gets the colours wrong

Sorry about getting back so late.
But here is the uncropped shot.View attachment 45090

Now we are getting somewhere. Look at the ground and the trucks. They look correct as far as we can see. The sky is close but I would bet there is a haze between you and the mountains that is affecting the color. It might be a little underexposed also.

It is pretty close to correct.

Don I think you are right on.
Cause as I was thinking over the last couple of days, I was going to ask if the smog or light haze would have anything to do with it.
They were taken in southwest arizona and southeast california. And when you look with your eyes some of the mountains have that look.
Thanks
Also you are good. If i had looked at them and didn't know they were taken out west, I'll never had guessed that could be the reason.
