Hello Virginia Abra,

This shot has many good points for clarity and exposure,
some good points for interest and cropping
and a not so good for something very important in this
case and that could be so simply corrected: the DoF.

The depth of field is so narrow that it give the picture no
anchoring point to the viewer's eye. This is a normal con-
sequence to the ƒ3,3 you have chosen at capture. In a take
like this, ƒ11 or ƒ16 are values you should consider.

Have a good day…

Im thinking something along the lines that kodiak says, need a better center of focus, clarity is good but no strong focal point

Actually, I do like your depth of field. An even shallower depth of field would have better defined your center of interest/focal point which I am assuming is the center of the "star". Technically, the photo is excellent. It's lacking a little bit in the area of creativity. I think if you play around a little bit with the composition, and crop it in a little more interesting way (depending on your artistic intent), your photo would have a little more impact.

IMHO

Nice work and welcome to the forum.

Thank You very much for your reply's. I was deliberate about the DOF because i wanted the focus on the water drop. I will try it again with f11 Thanks Again . Really appreciate all tip & feedback to help me learn more about our passion :)

As stated it's technically good but as to creativity I feel its a bit two dimensional that is the camera is too straight on to the leaf. Moving away from square on a bit would give the drop more form and add depth to the image IMO. possibly you could also try experimenting with the position of your light source, with the water drop this might have some interesting results.
