I do not have any experience with this, with the exception that I have been looking at it on/off for a while now.

Granted it is sub $40.... but I am having a hard time getting over the fact that more people have given it a 1 vs 5 star rating and if you add the 1 &2 star rating they are almost equal to the 5&4 ratings.

That was my thoughts also. I read some of the reviews and I think a lot of them were expecting more than what was promised. I trust most of the guys around here and was hoping someone had tried it out.

Looking at the images on the link above, it looks like it will stop the inbuilt flash from popping up.... Could be a problem since it also occupies the external flash hotshoe?
