I use a LowePro 102AW for my D5100....... perfect.

I use a LowePro 302AW for my D700......... perfect.

Did I say, "Perfect"? I meant perfect.

I shoot a D3100 and am thinking of getting a LowePro 302AW, for its ability to carry my D3100 and several lenses.
(gives me a excuse to buy some new lenses ... "But dear I have to get another lens as I have a space for it in my bag")
Maybe as a Christmas present to myself!

I use the Lowepro Stealth Reporter D400 AW and the Lowepro Fastpack 250 AW. They both hold enough gear to allow you to grow with the hobby.

Thanks guys, gives me someplace to start. I'm kind of looking for something I can pack a tripod on too, for wildlife photography

I use Lowepro backpack. This bag is very functional due to the ability of the photographer to change the position of the dividers inside the case to fit the number of lenses, flashs or other accessories needed for a shoot. The tripod holder on the exterior of the bag makes carrying all of the materials needed for a basic shoot a snap!

The bag opens from the back (between the straps), making the case very secure when walking around in crowded streets or in airports. There are individual pockets for memory cards and other small photography essentials.

I use a duck hunters bag made for shotgun shells and duck calls. It is inconspicuous and doesn't get in my way. I only use it during transit and for storage. Fast and light and no extraneous BS to get in the way is my motto.

These are my Lowepro bags along with a National Geographic small shoulder bag I use a lot for my D40 around town. There's one other Lowepro hip-type bag I didn't show here. I use it to carry my flash equipment, spare batteries, filters, etc.

I just got my LowePro 202 AW bag and so far it's working out very well. It's a sling type bag, and it goes over one shoulder only, but slides around to my front where I can access everything in it quickly and easily. There is another strap on it that goes around my body to secure it. The AW stands for All Weather as it has an enclosed vinyl hood for those rainy days. I keep my D90 w/grip with my 70-300mm lens on it and my other 2 lenses and my flash unit in it. It also has numerous pouches and pockets for other various gear, and a tripod holder.

I had the Sling 202. Sold it last year and got the Computrekker, which carries more, plus my lap top. I'd like to get the Sling 302, actually. I really liked the 202.....it just didn't carry enough for what I do.
