    Flash/Smile Meter

This is my new-to-me old used flash meter.... and my precious daughter. Got the meter from a small photography store that seems to specialize in things so antique nobody wants them. I say this because the store, unfortunately, is always empty.

I've got a picture of my D3100 sitting on a tripod getting ready to take some images. Does that count?
You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in their struggle for independence.

Nice shot of your daughter. You might even want to PS the meter out.

I used to have one of these and it did the job. But with digital, since we get the result right away, I don't find that I need one anymore.

Of course! Let's see it. There's not much here that doesn't count... as long as it's your equipment.

This was just the prep shot. I snapped a few more after making the appropriate adjustments.

Yeah, I don't find myself using it very much. But i still like to pull it out from time to time; after-all, what appears on the back of my camera always looks better than what I end up with, even with a histogram check.

I had that exact meter many many years ago. I have no idea what happened to it.
