    Tripod Question ???

    Hello Folks,
I'm tripod shopping and have an Induro brand question. I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this topic. I have found on the Benro/Induro USA website, Induro tripods, 3 of which have the "CLT" designation with no "GIT" series models being shown. This makes me wonder if the "GIT" series, which is still available at some big online retailers (Adorama, B & H etc.), is an older series-(possibly ready to be discontinued). Does anyone know if one series is older than the other between the "CLT" or the "GIT" series. I might want to buy a tripod from a newer model series vs a discontinued series. Thanks in advance for your help.

It looks like the CLT has a center column and the GIT doesn't.

    OK, that makes sense. Thanks.
But why don't the GIT series show up on their website?

I don't know. Maybe you could check with their customer support.

Both brands are great, I've used both, Benro is where I settled. Model year/ brand name really doesn't matter, buy the best you can afford and take pictures. I've shot great pictures on $50 tripods and crappy ones on $500 tripods.

This doesn't address your question, but Fstoppers reviewed a few different carbon fiber tripods and really liked the Benro model.

Yes, I planned on doing that today but when I thought of it, customer service was only 2 minutes from closing.
    I'll try tomorrow. Thanks.

Good point my friend. Glad to know you are good with both brands. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, funny you should mention that video. I did run across it during my research. Good to know they like the brand. I believe Benro and Induro and owned by the same parent company. Thanks for your reply.

I watched some reviews and comparisons before choosing a carbon fiber tripod and picked a Benro. I love it so far and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
