RAVPower batteries for D7500 - comments?

I ordered my new D7500 and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Shopping for extra batteries, I found a RAVPower package with 2 batteries and charger for $34.99. That's cheaper than just one OEM battery.

Normally, I would be skeptical of third-party batteries, but I have found several reviews and they all seem positive. One site (batteryfocus) ranked the Top 10 and RAVPower was #1. They seem to be well-engineered with several levels of protection.

I did a search here at Nikonites and most battery threads were several years old. Has anyone used these RAVPower batteries and care to offer insight?

Thank you.

I purchased the same set from Neewer on Amazon in May... I think they're excellent... the double USB-C charger is better than the single, slow 110v Nikon charger...

I have a RAV Power charger that is a USB charger - and it's excellent although no experience with the particular charger you mentioned.

My D500 came with a Nikon EN-EL 15b battery which offers a few more shutter actuations than the EN-EL 15a battery used in many other Nikon bodies. But since the EN-EL 15a is the one Nikon ships with the D7500, most likely the RAV Power batteries and charger will be exceptional. Nice find! :)

When I have bought replacement battery packs for the past 10 years, I have been sticking with Wasabi Power. Had good luck with the first one I got and no complaints with any others. I have put them in my CoolPix 995 (EN-EL1), D80 (EN-EL3), D7000 and D750 (EN-EL15), and my Lumix pocket camera.

My 2 RavPower batteries and USB charger arrived several days ago. I plugged the USB into a low power wall charger for an old phone, and the batteries were charged in just a few hours. I put one in the D7500 and took a few photos, then it sat in the case for a few days before shooting about 50 shots today. The battery meter on the camera still shows fully charged, so I'm optimistic.

I like the USB charger, so I can charge batteries in the car.

When I completed the online warranty registration, it shows a 12-month warranty and 180 days free return shipping. Oh, and there was $3 off, so it cost $31.99 with free shipping. Sounds fair to me.

I will update after using both batteries for a full cycle.

UPDATE: The camera was sitting in its case the past 2 weeks, but I got it out yesterday and took about 50 more shots. After a total of about 100 shots and being in the camera a little over 3 weeks, the battery meter on the camera still shows full.

So far, so good.

I have used Kaster EN-EL18c (D-5) batteries in the D500 and D850 grips for over a year and have great success with them. They boosted the frame rate on the D850 to over 9 fps, almost the same as the D500. They were CONSIDERABLY cheaper than OEM batteries and charger and this charger actually shows % charged. It also gives you the option to completely discharge the batteries before you recharge them, to prevent any "memory effect".

UPDATE: The past month, I've had the camera on at least 6-8 hours experimenting with different settings (using my RockyNook book from my old D7200), and this week, I've taken about 100 more shots. So, after 2 months since charging, about 200 shots, and many hours of "idling" while experimenting with settings, the battery display finally dropped to 4/5.

So far, I'm satisfied.

UPDATE: I also picked up another set of RavPower batteries and USB charger on sale ($22 for 2 batteries and charger - including shipping) for my D-3100. This past week, I took it out photographing historical markers. After 650 photos, the battery indicator LED was down to the last bar. Because of direct sunlight and shadows, I used fill flash on about 10% of the shots. I don't know how many more photos I could have taken on that one charge, but the trip was over and I replaced it with the other one.

So far, so good.
