RRS Clamp Question

Although I am not a fan of ball heads, I am possibly interested in changing the QR clamp on my Manfrotto tripod to an RRS clamp. The problem is I'm not entirely sure which clamp is used on the RRS BH-40 Ball Head will full size lever.

Here is a link to the ball head: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/prod...h_40_lr_ii_bh_40_ballhead_with_full_size.html

Is this the same clamp that is on the ball head? There are a few different RRS clamps out there: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/prod..._lever_release_style_quick_release_clamp.html

It doesn't appear that any of the clamps come with plates so I know that will require a separate purchase. Thanks for any help. :)

Call their toll free number and ask.

The manufacturer isn't open today. Not sure if B&H is even open, but when I called them asking about softbox info, the person didn't have all the answers. Thought perhaps someone here might have the ball head and hopefully could tell me if there is any identifying info on it. :)

Based on the numerical scale engraved on the top of each you can determine if the dimensions on both plates are the same; it appears to me they are. Both are said to have the full-size lever (as opposed to the compact-lever) which also gives you a point of reference. They're drilled slightly differently, with the separate plate having additional screw holes. I'd say they're dimensionally and functionally the same clamp.

Ahh...yes. Now I see what you mean, Fish. Thanks! I hadn't noticed the difference. :)
