Anyone able to use the Nikon WU-1a wifi adapter with the fuji instax printer?

I am considering either the Fuji Instax Share SP-1 or SP-2 wireless printer and want to know if it is compatible with the Nikon WU-1a wifi adapter. I called Fuji, they don't know. Not able to find any information online.

I would be using it with my Coolpix A while out and about.

Thanks. Joe

I've never been aware of any support for the WU-1A and instant printing, but it seems to me that it would be possible for such to exist. It would be entirely on the manufacturer of a printer to include support for the WU-1A and for retrieving pictures over it and printing them.

A quick bit of Googling seems to show that the printers in question are oriented toward printing from smart phones, and not from real cameras. It does seem likely to me that you could transfer the pictures from your camera to your smart phone using the WU-1A, and then print them from there to the printer. To make it possible to do it more directly would be entirely up to Fuji.

Agreed. I'm sure I can print from my phone to the Instax. I'd just like to know if the workflow would be shorter.

Thinking about it, I believe the Instax Printer and WU-1a may work the same way, they becomre a wifi 'hotspot' for the device to connect to. That device may be a phone or camera. I'd be suprised if they could connect to each other :(

Guess I'll just need to go out and buy a Fuji X100 series camera now LOL :)
