I have accumulated several camera bags over the years and store extra gear in them.

I store some gear in the previous camera bag that I out-grew; which is also the bag that replaced the first bag which I out-grew. And now I'm not to far from out-growing my current main bag.

Sooooo... You need a camera bag to store your camera bags?

Uh huh! I have two camera bags as well and I've outgrown them. I just have to pick what I take with me because it is SOOOOO heavy!

Lucky you! I just happen to have room in MY bag you can store your D800 in. Oh... And that 150-600 as well. It'll be a snug fit but I'll make it work. Wow... What a load that will take off your shoulders! I'll even pay the shipping to get it all here.

No... Don't thank me; that's just the sort of guy I am!

Maybe companies should make two lines of bags. One specifically for the camera & lenses. Another specifically for all the gear/accessories. ;) However, a camera bag for camera bags might catch on.

I have a friend here local that I shoot with a lot. He built a house here and did not finish the upstairs except for one room. A 14 X 40 room that is finished with heat and air. Drop down stairs into his office. Went up there once. Shelves lining the entire room. It is full of his "Extra photo gear"

Good Grief, Charlie Brown.

I wish I could add a small room in the attic like that.

Wait, is the OP seriously leading us to believe he only has ONE camera bag? Someone confiscate his photog license :)

For real, look st your local Craig's List ads - you can get great bags & cases for $10-30 bucks each.

I always have at least one empty extra in the closet!

Come to think about it, I actually have several empty for different purposes and I pick and fill the one I need for that specific time.

i.e. I have one specific for hiking - it's small, light and it includes a water bladder section. One messenger bag for when I'm just driving around in the truck, and a couple different sized backpack styles for different kinds of shoots.
