I recently purchased the Gmax gps geotagger from Solmeta. I also have the older Pro-2 model.
My issues is that I loose the gps signal to my D5 after a few minutes. I do not have this issue with the older pro-2. This occurs when outside with good line of sight
The Gmax shows is still showing the data, but the camera is not capturing it. This occurs after a couple of minutes. Turning the camera on and off does't help. In order to get it to capture the data, I turn the Gmax on and off. This has also occurred a few times on my Nikon 810.
Solmeta was kind enough to send out a new cable, but this didn't fix anything. I have reset the Gmax and this hasn't helped.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
