Going through my dad's old camera bag. I've kept of course the ol' Nikon lenses, as these are great quality and totally sentimental to me. But its time to part with the rest. Do these items have any value? Perhaps the museum?:). I think the lens fetches about $25 on a good day, but not sure of the rest.

1) Rexagon 28mm f/2.8 non-AI Manual Focus wideangle lens, Nikon mount Serial 724163. Made in Japan....works fine but marked up from use.
2) Nikon Nikkormat FTN 35mm film camera, body only, black, Serial FT 3531966 incl case . Made in Japan.
3) Pentax Super Program 35mm Film Camera, Body, , Serial 1073077, incl case. Made in Japan

Film equipment seems to have lost a lot of value with the popularity of digital photography. You could enter the different pieces in an eBay search to see what's selling. Personally, I'd donate the stuff to the Salvation Army or Goodwill for their resale. You can take a tax deduction for the donation.

Good luck.

That's an interesting idea, thanks. Might be hard to get them to provide a receipt with a value on it, but ebay posts might be sufficient documentation. Think I'll give the project to one of my kids!

...or 5 and dime it to folks that collect, for display or somesuch. That old Nikkormat with a lens attached would make a nice display, IMO. I've been hitting local resales, etc. looking for a cool old SLR just for display. Haven't come across any Nikons yet, which is what I'm after.

Depending on the condition, I've spotted those on the web for anywhere from $25 and up (max I saw was around $240, but just a brief search), depending on condition and what lens was packaged with it. Maybe I should brave the whole Ebay thing, which I'm usually leery of, and get one of the not so pricey ones instead of hunting locally.

Definitely check ebay and be sure to check the sold listings on the left side to see what similar items are selling/have sold for.
