Talking about teleconverters; did anyone try a TC on the Tamron 150-600? I did some shots with my Nikon 2x but had to use an extension ring to fit and shot with the lens closed down but when working around that, the quality wasn't too shabby.

I've used my Nikon 1.4 TC (that's been shaved) on the Tamzooka with better-than-expected results.

My Tamron TC makes the lens forever hunt for AF. But it's an older model that I use mostly for film now.

Do you happen to know anything about this specific model I listed, Sparky? It's an older film tele converter, too. As you know, not all of them can be used with every lens, and I haven't been able to find info on what lenses are compatible with it.
