How fast is your 35mm film scanner with 16 samples?

I have a Nikon Super CoolScan LS-8000 and although I would not say it is all that quick, the speed depends on how many passes I designate for the scan using Nikon's software. It is certainly quicker for 35mm than it is for medium format for obvious reasons.

The 8200 takes 4:15 to scan a 35mm color film negative at 16-bit, 7200dpi resolution. It then takes another 7:30 to process the data. Then 8 seconds to save the TIFF file. That's with my 6-week old computer. If yours is older, it may take longer.

None of this includes any editing done prior to scanning, nor does it include the prescan.
