Black rapid straps?

Expensive, but worth it. I just invested in a Yeti and it arrived just as my D600 went out the door for shutter work. So while I can't attest to its use for two cameras yet, I do like the way it works with the D800.

Got my RS-7 last week with the Bos Tail as I did not want to use the tripod mount... So much better than a next strap for a day in the field...

I think sport is the best since you get the under arm strap, you could always chose not to use it if you don't want to, but its there for when you do...

A BR sport? Or just a BR in general?

BR in general - I had a few close calls with the strap I had. Also I found it to be a PIA(in my situation) while out shooting wildlife. With the 300mmf4 lens I had the BR on the tripod foot, kept having to unscrew it to use the tripod. I have "Domke" quick release with metal hardware neck strap - way better for all my needs.

A lot of people have and like the sport... I am fairly large and often things like this are just too short/tight. I opted for the RS-7 as it has an extender available (I did not need it)

The Sport includes the strap... the RS-7 you can add it... (making the RS-7 with Brad about $5-6 more)

I have a clone of the BR Strap and having the tripod unavailable was a pain but since I got the Bos Tail I love it so much more and have been using my tripod 5 times as much since it is easy now.

We have choices when needing the tripod mount while using any strap that also uses the same mount on the camera

Cotton carrier and the FastenR are two :)

Horoscope fish had a brilliant idea, he used 2 1" split rings. See straps with bostail modification thread thread for details...

I had my BR sport on today for about four hours, no sweaty neck and the temp was 94deg, happy with it sits nicely against my leg, so far so good.

I looked at black rapid strap but for the same price I got a much better Carry speed pro. It's fantastic! Easy to throw on shoulder and comfortable so neck doesn't ache after walking with it on like with nikon neck strap. It has the bracket that uses tripod mount BUT has screw holes in the bracket so you can still mount tripod (I have monfrotto) quick release AND also has a screw in the wrist strap. Best purchase yet :)

Same here Roy... It was a great day and the BR performed flawless. I spend the day with the 55-300mm on too.
