Need some 16GB cf cards for Florida trip. Question?

Going to Florida in a couple weeks and need to pick up a couple 16GB cards.

I already have 6-8GB CF's, 1-16GB CF, 2-8GB sd's and 1-16GB sd. But would like a couple 16 cf's just in case.

Budget is low, so was thinking about getting some Kingston's which are on sale, Transcend or Delkin Devices.

Anyone use these brands?

Kingston 16gb 266x are on sale for $15.95
Kingston 16gb 600x are on sale for $27.95 (but are out of stock)
Transcend 16gb 400x are $29.95
Delkin Devices 16gb 500x are $23.95

They seem to get good reviews from the buyers at B&H, but was just wondering if any of you guy's use them.

I have used Kingston and Transcend.. no issues, most recently Transcend and Sandisk.

I use Kingston and Lexar. Sandisk is very good, too. Never had issues with any of my cf cards.

Personal opinion - Kingston, Transcend and others have given me issues in the past...
Sandisk class 10 seems to be the best... Though Transcend and Sandisk seem to be of similar build & quality

Since you are asking for suggestions on cards -

Why do you need such big cards?

The more on one card risks all being lost if something happens to a card.

An 8 gig card will hold a boat load of both RAW & JPEG images.

16 Gb CF card for less than USD 20? You can't get that here. I was in Spain recently and CF card of 8 Gb is above 40 euro!

That is beside the point. You spend $$$$ on holiday then realize you don't have enough memory to shoot! You missed those shots for $50 bucks? Buy it and don't regret
