Promaster Carbon Tripods

I was at one of my local camera stores, and the clerk was showing me the new Promaster carbon tripod, compared to my Manfrotto carbon, and it was really nice, more compact, and such, and still stiff.. they wanted 259 dollars, which was a bit high,,

anyway,, I wanted to do some more research, and found it on sale for 99 dollars! threw on a Manfrotto ball head that was on sale for 70 dollars, and for 170 dollars got a really nice compact tripod. I want to compare it to my Manfrotto 190, the clerk who was also a photographer, claimed he switched out from Manfrotto to this Promaster, and love it.

Way cheaper than Gitzo, etc, I'll report back on its endurance.

I got the [h=1]Promaster C423W Carbon Fiber Tripod[/h]

I own the Manfrotto 190 Cabon, not a bad tripod, done me ok, I find it kinda heavy and bulky, I tried out this Promaster, and while not built as tough,
it was very fast, and lighter, I would not pay the list 249 dollars, but I got it for 99 dollars. I am going to give it a try, and see.
