    Hurricane Isaias

For all of you Nikonites along the southeast US coast (Marilynne, Fred Kingston, Needa, et al), I wish you safety and good health as this storm approaches and impacts you. May its effects be minimal at most for everyone.

Please let us know you are safe after the storm passes. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

    Wayne

All is well here. Mostly a non-event as it remind off shore and South Florida was on the clean side. It has also been down grade to a tropical storm. This is not to say other further north will be so fortunate as it appear it will get closer to the shore as it moves north. Be safe all.

Sun is out here now... Total rain today was .08" <-- We get more than that on a regular summer afternoon here...

I'm not going to test the Hurricane Gods by saying anything else...

We are in the path of Tropical Storm Isaias which will start to bring in rain tonight but will make its fullest impact tomorrow. Heavy winds and rain are predicted. The problem here is so many trees have grown around power lines. The wind knocks down limbs which results in power outages. Every year the power company has an independent tree trimming company go through and cut back limbs, but there are far too many limbs that need to be removed.

I'm glad those of you in Florida were spared from a Hurricane!
