My sights are set on a flash unit for macro, not sure if i should go all the way and get one of these, its a lot of flash to push towards an insect.

I'm *hoping* I can save enough to get a D500 body, but realistically....a GorillaPod 5K, and maybe a 1.4x or 1.7x teleconverter.

Fuji should be due to either announce or release an X-T4. Having upgraded from the X-T1 to X-T2 and now 2 X-T3's, I'm pretty sure I'd upgrade at least one of the bodies.

I am pretty happy with what I have right now. I would like to see the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 for the Z platform come out. The other thing is to see Tamron and Sigma start creating some lenses for the Z platform.

I am pleased the way they have been upgrading firmware; I hope that continues.

I've already got a D750. What else could possibly be an upgrade ?
I'll keep looking, but not hopeful.

Did you purchase it new? If so, what type of battery came with it? The original EN-EL 15 batteries are discontinued, and there's a new EN-EL 15b in its place. It's dark grey instead of black. Supposedly it will shoot more frames but can be used in bodies that took the original EN-EL 15 without any problems. And it uses the same charger as the original battery. From what I was told, some new D750 bodies have the original battery while others have the new one.

I am hoping to sell a couple of things, and don't see a need to purchase at this point.

I know... I'm a buzz kill. :)

Bought lightly used, came with several gray batteries.

I do have older style (black) batteries for my D100. Those original D100 batts come in a modern gray version for my formerly owned D200/300/7100's.

I have been eyeing the D750 as an upgrade to D7000. Now the D780 sounds real good except for price, so I think, I'll give it a little time to shake out and get the bugs figured out. I expect with D780 coming out, the price on D750 to maybe drop some more also. I'm in no rush and it is more of a want than need.;)

I'm leaning more towards the Z6 these days!
