I am a Cotton Fan Here is Something New -SlingBelt and Bucket System
I am a cotton fan If I am going to be out and about. I am kind of unstable at times and I like having both hands free. I just received an email from Cotton with a new kit. It putts together a sling and their secure system on a belt as well as a way to carry a lens or water bottle. This just looks pretty slick. It secures the camera when your walking but is a sling when you are shooting. Thought some of you all might be interested.

It definitely looks interesting. I use the Think Tank belt with a holster as I prefer carrying a camera that way rather than carrying a shoulder bag or backpack. And I can add another holster or other accessories to the belt. Sometimes I will carry the camera by its shoulder strap and use the holster to carry a lens ball. Those balls heat up quickly so it's a safer way to carry it instead of sticking it in a pocket.
Nice find. I hope this project will do well.Danno Thanks/liked this post

I do not usually pack a lot of gear. I use a Think Tank Retrospective 20 Shoulder bag and with the DSLR if I was going to be walking a lot I used the Cotton rig that put the camera on my chest and I carried a lens or two in the TT bag which was pretty light with just lenses. The D700 with the 70-200 was the heavy piece. I like Cotton because there is nothing swinging around and I have both hands free. Me and the camera are more safe and secure.
Now with the Z6 it is so light and I have the 24-70 on it most the time. I think this rig would work really well because it would keep the camera stationary. and I could put another prime or in the pouch. Still mulling it over. I do like the regular Cotton Rig when the 70-200 is on the Z6. I am not sure if I will add yet another option to my carrying methods. But I thought others might be interested. Cotton and Think Tank seem to be my go too carry Peak Design as well for taking the camera to town. Yes I am a bit paranoid about dropping my camera. I am a bit clumsy these days.hark Thanks/liked this post
