    I would second Stan's suggestion for a good refurbished D7200. Many members of this website consider it the best all around DX camera available. Yes, the D500 has some advantages for action and sports photography, but for landscape and portrait work, the D7200 has some advantages (plus your avoid he XQD memory card issues). Being able to used some of the great older screwdrive lenses can allow you to get some great glass at a very good price.

    I have decided to purchase the D5600. It will work for me Now and in the Future.
