Slow internet

i am seeing a lag between the time i click on a site and the time it starts to load (all sites not just here).

I click on facebook or flicker or any of my news sites and imo it looks like the internet has to think about what i clicked on and then load. My speedtests show that i am getting the correct download speed. Just wondering if when they changed the internet access here in the us they slowed service to the users.

If you're getting 5mb or greater in speeds then that should be decent enough to open pages. Can you tell us in seconds what the lag is? Some obvious options would be to reboot, try a different browser, scan for malware, look at your task manager and check your resources (noting utilization). If you have a large home network then try shutting down other devices and connect directly to your router and see if your lag is still there.

Lastly peek through your neighbor's window and see if he's stealing your wifi. ;)
