    Re: Best in customer service

This morning I was looking up some info on B&H and found out they moved their warehouse to Florence, NJ. Their lease was up and wasn't going to be renewed so they needed to find a new location.

Until recently B&H was my go-to store. They really messed up mine (and a lot of other folks) pre-orders on the X-T3. I wound up purchasing locally (Allen's Camera plug).

I preordered as soon as possible. During the release day, they had "order now" for same day shipping. Late in the day when I didn't receive shipping notice, I started a chat (see below). When there customer service called back to see why I cancelled the order, they suggested that I should have escalated further. I took it as they really didn't want my business.

I ordered from them in the past, and will say that their customer service was top notch. But for other reasons, I'm done shopping with them: I'm shopping locally, now. (Well, maybe not locally, but I'm supporting B&M camera retailers, now.)
