Apology for missing images

Due to the attitude from Flickr, ie to keep my 3000 images on there i would have to go pro, i deleted them, this has made a mess of some of the image threads.
I know how annoying this can be, its something i dont like to see myself unfortunately it was the only answer that would suit me.

I'm glade I never got sucked into Flikr. In general, this is why I continue to avoid the cloud in general. They all act too much like illegal drug dealers, give your a super good price to get you hooked, then look out!

Photobucket ruined the internet too. So many forums I visit for car repair, appliance repair, beer brewing, fishing, etc. have blank images now. Many years of 'how to' knowledge lost when they started shaking down people for money. Nobody is going to update a 10 year old thread on how to fix some obscure issue on my 13 year old truck.

This is one reason we always have advised our members to post images directly here. Links to other sites can break or just get deleted.

I know this forum's form is not the mostly friendly way to post photos, but with patience, it can be worked out. I just wish we could change the forum's basic software without destroying everything we already got on our servers...
