Certainly not the best of news

But my wife has decided to throw in the towel after 35 years of marriage and almost 40 years together. I don't relish starting over at 60 but after the lies and stringing me along to think she was still willing to work on it I guess it is time to move on. Look on the bright side, now I will have more time to devote to photography! Henceforth, she shall be referred to as the "plaintiff"

Agree, not the best of news but it sounds like you’re doing what’s best for you.

That means we’ll see you posting here more then? ;)

Been there, done that. I'm sure it sucks now and it's going to continue to suck, probably for a good while yet, but... It *will* get better.

Protect yourself.

Best of luck to you!

Since I know zero of what brought this on. I won't comment on blame or what brought this on. But, I hope all works out for you both. And if kids are involved. They are ok as well.

Painful in many respects, and it does not ever really go away. Good luck to you.
I'm at 44 years married now (totaling the duration of all 3 wives) ! Finally got it right.

Sorry, man. That sucks. No words of wisdom, here, just a wish for things to go quickly and smoothly through the legal system. Come here and rant any time you need. We'll be your sympathetic ear. :)

Sorry to hear this. My problem is that after 28 years of marriage, my wife still likes me....Don't ask me why.:indecisiveness:

Sorry, you are going through this. It will take a while to get through. The thing you have to remember is to take care of yourself. It is easy to forget that and start missing meals and such. I too went through this many years ago but met my second wife unexpectedly and this time I got it right.
