Strange feeling after getting new bag?

Ok, so I just got a new bag (specifically a Lowepro 450 AW II backpack); my third bag after out-growing my first two. Anyway, after putting all of my equipment in the new bag, and having extra space left, I suddenly had the strange feeling that I now must pursue more accessories in order to fill the extra space. I had not anticipated this scenario. Whatever shall I do? ;)

Return the bag and go back to using the old one. :) Do it quickly! Or you could just add rock for now so you get used to the weight of the accessories. :)

I've got the feeling times two

Went to buy a new one off a CraigsList ad yesterday.

Wound up buying two. Price was too good to select only one.

LOL. I got a new photo backpack this summer and, fortunately, it just fits everything I wanted to carry, no more. :)

As I sit here in my recliner, using my computer, the bag is two feet from me. It's mocking me; daring me to open it and face the extra space again; and I will have to do so every time I open it; until it's filled. ;)

Be patient. Live with it a while, get to know it. It's a relationship. You need to know exactly where everything is. I like to be able to find things even in the dark or when I am in a hurry to get something before the light changes. In the meantime if you just can't stand an empty spot, fill, it with cheap stuff that you already own. Extre lens cleaning stuff. An extra strap, battery and charger. Throw in a microfiber towel or an extra pair or eyeglasses. An extra flashlight. I keep a cheapo headlamp (like coal miners use) in the bag. Raingear or a large plastic bag. A large bandanna can have many uses, and will fill some of your emptiness. You get the idea.
As time passes you will add the things that are more important to your needs and take out the unnecessary stuff
