Next time you have NAS

Have not had NAS for a while. I'm pretty much all set. The D750 and 24-120mm plus the 20mm lens covers my landscape needs. The D750 plus 70-200mm f/2.8 covers my street and indoor needs. (if I need something longer I'll just put it on the D500)

Everything else like BIF, wildlife and sometimes sports, my 200-500mm lens attached to the D500 will cover very nicely.

If I was to lust after something, it would probably be something like the Nikon 14-24 or the Tammy 15-30mm but those things are not a need thing, but a would be nice to have thing.

Unfortunately regardless what we say we are all impacted by "hype" be it reviews on line or advertising. I can see why he has received so many responses and as pointed out - he praised the X100 then changed for another model so he must expect some negative feedback from those who purchased the X100 based on his endorsement.

Cameras are only tools and very much a personal choice so as such there is no "one brand/type fits all" and as photographers it is a case of try before you buy to ensure it meets your needs depending on the genre you focus on.

I do own a couple of Fuji's and for me they do work for more considered non sports shooting (I owned an XT2 and as good as it is, it did not meet my requirements for sport / airshows / motor racing) I now have the D500 that is perfect for my fast action / tracking needs and feel happy that I now have equipment that works for me and my needs.
