Do you work, when you take a vacation or trip? Or just relax?

Personally I always at least do a little work, but try to dedicate most of the time to relaxing.

In May my wife and I are going to Kitty Hawk North Carolina. First week long vacation in over 40 years. We've rented a house right on the beach. Since my overall mobility is very limited, I plan to sit on the deck and read, and take as many photos as I can. As far as work goes???? Nobody Got Time for That.

My "normal" work means that I cant take it on holiday with me which is good!

However I will always answer any of my brides as soon as I can so I guess I am always working on the photography side. However before I head off for a trip I let them all know that I am away so it may be a more delayed response than normal :)

My job unfortunately does not allow to unplug completely.
I've got to be reachable at least by email which I do try to limit to evenings checking and replying.

That nasty four letter work. Got no time for that. The only problem with being retired is you never get a vacation. Just got into the state of Florida. Crystal River for a few days of photography.

I'm "always on" when I'm working, so vacation means I'm completely unplugged. It's why we enjoy cruising as much ... I don't have to keep packing a suit case, and I'm not going to both with roaming or data plans while away. If work needs to reach me, work can pay for the vacation and then I'll be reachable.

Vacation and work ::what:: well if you call drinking beer meeting friends for a day of wildlife photography and just plain relaxing for 2 weeks work then I can see that :D
